He has more than 30 years of professional experience of which the last 10 years have been developed in the field of Corporate Finance and M&A. He has held positions in General and Financial Management, including five years as Managing Director of the Capital Risk Fund GEDSUR Capital, 5 years as Deputy General Manager and Financial Director of the Grupo Carteológica de Innovación S.A. (currently Grupo Alter Technologies), having held positions in Financial Management in various companies, among which the Tudor Group and the General Mediterranean Foundation stand out.
He has participated in numerous business sale transactions both as an advisor to the buyer and the seller.
EDUCATION
He has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Seville, an Executive MBA from IE Business School (number 1 of his class), SAP Certified Consultant (Cost Module) and Professor of Corporate Finance (for 25 years) at IE Business School, the Institute of Cajasol Studies, the EOI Foundation and the Institute of Distance Education (ISEAD). He is the author of several articles of business content, he has written more than 50 cases and technical notes of Corporate Finance for the business schools cited.
PROFESSIONAL
He has more than 23 years of professional experience of which the last 7 years he has participated in various business buying and selling transactions as a professional partner of our firm. Previously, and for more than 10 years, he was part of the multinational Deloitte (previously, Arthur Andersen), occupying, among others, the position of Manager of audit and consulting practice, having advised multinational companies, such as Endesa, Iberdrola, Gas Natural Fenosa, Abengoa, and small and medium-sized companies in different sectors of activity. Currently, in addition to participating in processes of buying and selling companies, he acts as a consultant and independent auditor, collaborating and advising, among other companies, Endesa and several SMEs, as well as technical adviser of the 7th Grouping of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. from Spain.
EDUCATION
He has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Seville, an MBA from the IE BUSINESS SCHOOL, Certified Public Accountant Auditor, registered as an officer in the Official Register of Account Auditors, and Mediator in Civil and Commercial Matters, registered in the Registry of the Ministry of Justice.
